The story, in three lengths
Short
Your body expects a day that no longer exists: first light, real food, your people, dark nights. Riveryn follows your day in seven parts, Sleep, Sun, Move, Food, Hunt, Quiet and People, gives it one number, the fire, and asks for one small thing today.
Medium
Riveryn starts from one idea: you’re not broken; your day was built by someone else. Phone in bed, coffee at a desk, the feed, the phone till midnight. The app reads the day in seven parts and gives each day one number, the fire, from 0 to 100. It grows with what you did, and nothing you skip takes it down. Each morning starts with a fresh fire. The iPhone counts steps through Apple Health; an Apple Watch can add sleep and daylight; the rest is one tap or a typed line. The Hunt is one real thing you name in the morning and finish by dusk. After a week, Riveryn shows what your own days show.
Long
Riveryn is an iPhone app for living the hunter-gatherer day, one small piece at a time. It looks at the whole day in seven parts: Sleep (the same wake time, a dark, cool room), Sun (daylight soon after waking, lamps low after dusk), Move (on your feet often, a walk after the biggest meal, something hard twice a week), Food (real food, protein first, eaten by day), Hunt (one real thing named in the morning and finished today), Quiet (ten still minutes) and People (one real conversation, the evening together).
Each day gets one number, the fire, from 0 to 100. It only grows; nothing you skip takes it down, and each day starts fresh. The phone counts steps, a watch or another app can add sleep and daylight through Apple Health, and everything else is one tap. Meals can be typed, spoken or photographed; the calorie estimate stays inside the opened meal, never on the main screen. At dusk the app helps the evening wind down: lamps low, the phone out of the room, time with your people. After a week it shows which parts were there on the person’s good days. Some weeks the honest answer is “Another week will tell.”
Riveryn is made by MyTip Innovations, a small company in Prague. There is no account; the log lives on the phone, Apple Health is read-only, and health data is never sold or used for ads. It is not medical advice.
